1. Order
When you order a VPS, you choose:
- the datacentre location closest to your visitors,
- the operating system (Ubuntu 24.04 LTS suits most stacks),
- and, if you like, what we should install: for example WordPress, WooCommerce, Node.js, Docker or n8n.
VPS plans are billed monthly. Pay the invoice to start the setup.
2. Setup
After payment your VPS shows as Setting up under Services while we build it. We confirm the location first: availability changes with demand, and if your location is full we contact you before using another one.
We then install the operating system, secure the server (updates, firewall, SSH hardening) and install the software you asked for.
3. Your logins
When the server is ready, the service becomes Active and we email you. The server address and logins are in Secure details, never in the email.
Change the passwords we set as soon as you sign in.
Running your VPS
The VPS is unmanaged: you have full root access and run the server yourself. We keep a daily backup of the previous 24 hours. If something goes wrong, open a ticket from Services → Manage → Get help.
